PolyVerm Technologes
PolyVerm Technologies (PVT) is the flagship subsidiary of 42 Acres. Through a proprietary process, PVT converts mixed, low-value plastics into valuable, sustainable products that improve soil health and reduce landfill dependency.
PVT's process is operational, not theoretical. The company is actively processing plastic waste from commercial partners through a series of pilot programs. This plastic is not eligible for recycling and is often too dirty for other processes, so it would otherwise go to landfills.
The plastic is converted primarily into an environmentally safe soil amendment that has been independently verified to contain no significant microplastics. The core thermo-chemical process has earned federal validation through the National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase 1 and Phase 2 grants, a meaningful credentialing milestone in an industry where process integrity is everything.
PolyVerm Processing Center
The next step in scaling PVT is building larger PolyVerm Processing Centers (PVPCs), which are modular industrial facilities. They are designed to take the mixed plastic residual stream that materials recovery facilities (MRFs) and haulers currently landfill.
